Attach the following 1)   A brief (200 word max.) bio, artist’s statement or performance resume and photo, along with application form.  If accepted, your information will be included in the On and Off Fredericksburg Studio Tour catalog at no charge. 2)   An example of your musical offering, either in the form of CD, DVD, electronic link, etc. that showcases what you do. 3)   A photo (300 dpi jpeg format, please) of you with your group, or musical instrument, or in performance, which will be included in the catalog.

Submit your materials on or before Nov. 23, 2009: •    E-mail (subject line: “Fred Studio Tour Music”) form to bevprado@hotmail.com OR •    Mail materials or hand deliver them to: Beverly Prado, 254 Quentin 78201. Please place materials in one envelope or binder and call 736.6483 to arrange for delivery time.

TIMELINE   November 23:     Deadline for receipt of applications, including 200-word max bio/statement, a 300 dpi high-resolution image of one work for the catalog and the Bihl Haus Arts Exhibit/ Autograph Party, plus any additional jpegs that will appear on the website, at  www.OnAndOffFred.org. December 4:     Acceptance notification:  •    Communication of acceptance and other important information will be via e-mail. If you do not have access to email please include a self-addressed, stamped envelop with your application. December 11:    Contracts e-mailed to participating artists.

GUIDELINES: Musical Artists: 1)    Musical applicants must live in designated neighborhoods (Monticello Park, Jefferson, Woodlawn, Los Angeles Heights, Keystone, Beacon Hill, Alta Vista).  Musicians residing or with studios just outside the designated neighborhood boundaries will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 2)    Venues for musical performances will be chosen by musical review committee, depending on genre, needs of musical artist(s), and space availability. 3)    Equipment, set-up, break-down on day of performance will be implemented in timely fashion and is the responsibility of musical artist. 4)    Performance sets may be up to one hour in length. 5)    Musical promotion in the form of business cards, CD sales, etc. is permitted. 6)    No application fee is required; deadline requirements must be met. 7)    Stipends for musical performances will be subject to available funds. 8)    All participating artists are encouraged to attend the On and Off Fred Autograph Party and Preview Reception at Bihl Haus Arts on Friday, Feb. 19, 5:30-8:30 pm.  Arrive by 5:00 pm to be in the group photo.
